The book Weizmann The Leader of Zionism illuminates the path of one of the greatest Jewish leaders in the modern era. The articles appearing in the book put Haim Weizmann's actions at the center in contemporary academic research. He is presented as "The Great Zionist Synthesis" which is united by culture, science and politics. Between the end of WWI and the establishment of the state the words "Weizmann" and "Zionism" were nearly synonyms in the eyes of the Yishuv and the Diaspora as well as by officials and decision makers, in every aspect, regarding the fate of the Land of Israel, throughout the world.
Weizmann played an important role, often decisive, in designing goals and tasks, which derived from the ambition to realize the Zionist ideology, in the first half of the 20th century. His political view and cultural approach is also valuable in face of the many challenges the Israeli society has to cope with nowadays.
