This collection of articles is dedicated in recognition of Professor Avraham (Rami) Yogev's academic work. Rami is a full professor (emeritus) at The School of Education in Policy and Administration in Education as well as in the Department of   Sociology. The topics he was dealing with are the basic thoughts of sociology in education. These include aspects of stratification and inequality, social mobility, multiculturalism, social pluralism and the providing of opportunities in a post-modern society. Prof. Yogev was one of the first to set up a study about sociologists' work and educational system researchers, standing in the foreground.
